About Our Classes
Classes are held in-person at The Ballroom Temecula and are offered in small-group formats.
All classes must be reserved in advance through our online booking system.

Her group classes are always a great time; offering a variety of dance styles and levels of experience to choose from. Every class feels very inclusive and is just the right amount of challenging to feel a sense of accomplishment without feeling overwhelmed or discouraged. Her classes are great for singles or couples because you rotate partners the entire time; this means you do not need to show up with a partner and if you do have a partner then you get the benefit of learning from other students. Skills are learned. Friends are made. Everyone wins. Her private classes are incredibly helpful. Lucy will take your goals, your experience level and learning style and design classes that are unique to your needs. She doesn't have a set routine for the lesson--it is very dynamic and flows in the direction that is most beneficial to the main goal that you've set for yourself. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about dance and it really shows in her teaching style. She is patient, encouraging and never intimidating. At the end of every class you receive a small homework assignment (that you can take video of) to work on until the next class. These assignments are absolute gems. I have recommended Lucy's classes to family and friends and I have even bought classes as gifts (P.S. This gift idea was a huge hit. You're welcome.) Lucy is an awesome dance instructor! She is an artist in dance and is truly gifted. She is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience. Lucy helped me tremendously with my technique through salsa private and group lessons as well. She is patient and explains explicitly in such a way that you understand and get it! She will break those bad habits of yours and teach you a sound dance foundation to build upon. I also love the women's styling classes. Lucy teaches us all beautiful graceful movements to enhance our dancing . Another thing that really stands out about Lucy is her passion for her students . She frequently is present at the Latin dance community socials . She observes, offers tips , and dances with us. She was easy going and the lessons were fun. We caight ourselves laughing intermittently throughout the lessons. Lucy is very experienced in different dance styles ..so you will have many opportunities to try or learn more in one place ! I love her gentle style and quality she instills with each student ..she watches to see where you will need help as an individual. Although I was already experienced dancer , I’ve have really enjoyed working on basic technique which really is on ongoing dancers life . She incorporates higher level choreography while working and learning basics ..therefore you won’t get bored. This has helped me have better footwork , body movements and confidence ..whether for social dancing or performing. I learned new patterns during each lesson and she also shared "Pro dance tips" at each lesson to help take your dancing to the next level regardless of what level you are currently at.
